The location of the cottage is an easy five stars - such a special and secluded spot with lots of great places locally to explore. A real hidden part of Cornwall. It's worth noting that the track leading to the house is extremely bumpy and tight so probably not for you if you are a nervous driver or precious about your car! The cottage itself is comfortable and has everything you need. If you are visiting in the summer be aware that there is an old fashioned range / Aga oven that doesn't turn off which makes the kitchen / living space pretty hot. We were lucky that the weather was coolish but in a heatwave it could be pretty uncomfortable. Communication with Driftwood wasn't great which was a shame, but we still had a good trip overall.
